Thirteen seconds. Damn. They sat back in deep zone and gave up two soft shorties. It's easy to say in hindsight they should have chucked the TE/slots. Still, for the No. 1 defense, that was disappointing. That's a crusher.

Not Squibbing was inexcusable but the break down of the Kelce play is even worse.

Poyer/Hyde are way back, like they’re expecting a Hail Mary. Levi Wallace is defending the sideline, inexplicably, with the Chiefs having timeouts.

McDermott calls a TO.

Kelce tells Mahomes if they give him the same look, he’s cutting it inside.

We give them the same look.

Kelce cuts inside.

Nobody home due to Levi guarding the boundary and poyer/Hyde way deep.

Tie game.

Just absurd coaching and/or lack of execution

That last 13 seconds was an abomination and McDermott shouldn’t be able to get away with a throwaway cliche answer.

I’m certainly not saying to fire McDermott, but he needs to take a long hard look at himself, and then if Frazier is the guy to lead this defense.

Time to cut the fat with guys like Addison, Butlers Hughes etc.., and that game showed we probably shouldn’t bring back Levi.

If I’m Buffalo, I think you also have to see what the trade market is for Edmunds. I’d rather pay Oliver, and certainly don’t want to hamstring ourselves by paying both. Edmunds was drafted for this game. It’s not working.

Defense & Coaching lost us the game. Unless McDermott wants to reprimand himself or fire Frazier, the defense needs to stripped down to the core pieces (Oliver, Milano, White, Poyer, Hyde) and focus on giving Josh the best OL and weapons he can have. Defense needs to make due with the 3 high edge picks on the DL and fill in with mid-level FA’s and mid-late draft picks.

I am fine with drafting a corner w/ speed high.

That nagging feeling that our dumpster fire #1 Defense would let us down, but thinking nah… we got this… we might actually win a Super Bowl.

Then this.. Heartbreak for the fanbase. Letting down Josh Allen. More dickriding of Mahomes.

Allen outplayed mahommes .. most of the damage KC guys did after the catch on their own (mostly due to our pathetic tackling ) and we didn’t even defend the last two plays of regulation

I got emotionally distressed watching the 4 falls of Buffalo to the point it was almost a mini PTSD situation. I don’t take that label lightly as I realize it’s a very serious phenomenon stemming from events / memories with far more gravity than football .

Yet and still, emotional sufferings of vastly differing degrees become embedded via the same neurological pathways and are stored in the same areas of the brain. It’s just that the “volume” is louder for the truly devastating memories.

For a brief moment tonight I let myself think we were finally going to shake that Kong off our backs with a win over the Chiefs. This is our 5th super bowl loss.. nobody was beating us if we won this

Agreed. That is what will get it done. 13 seconds is maddening but chasing that offense around is frustrating say the least. I don't know what was wrong with Mahomes early in the season but he's clearly found his game again.

Fortunately/Unfortunately my 3 + decades as a Bills and SU fan made me check the clock instantly after our score and when I saw 13 seconds I told my wife it was to much time and we'd give up the field goal. Was still beyond pissed but wasn't surprised one bit, classic classic Buffalo. Frazier has to go, period.
