Buffalo Bills 2021 Thread

***ing brutal. Hope Allen got that crap out of his system. I gave him a pass for the WR health in the playoffs but I mean this is 3 pretty lousy games in a row.
Tomlin as usual butchers game situations and gets away w it; thanks for letting us kill the clock at the end of the half.
No call on their LT hogtying our edge guy right in front of Ben on the cancelled Trey int; after 4 holds on our OL; seriously?
I also hate how often refs oblige w flags on the “I have zero intention of completing this but hopefully I’ll get a cheap PI on a pop-up” throws.
Pretty ridiculous to blame the defense at all for this game really imo.
Lost in the 4th down fiasco will be Brieda’s terrible run on 3rd – that needs to be an easy chain mover the way it was set up for him.
Another blocked punt td in a slugfest game in our stadium? JFC not great for a staff that is supposedly elite in details; tighten that **** up.
God I hate losing to that team and their annoying fairweather fan base (I know about a dozen and incredibly none of them like the Pirates).

Lots of Bills fans were screaming that we should not re-sign Feliciano, not addressing IOL and not addressing CB2.

Lots of Bills fans look really correct after this 0-1 start when the Steelers mauled our IOL and targeted Levi Wallace.

Should have went for the TD, this was so freekin predictable
Getting 7 in that spot is massively underrated for exactly that reason.
Hate the stupid announcer handbook led by Al Michaels "well you need a FG eventually"..pfff, shut up.

Agree completely about that third down. Great defensive play but absolutely insane that wasn’t a conversion on third.

I didn't mind not addressing CB as last years draft wasn't great for thr position but the OL should have been addressed. Also when we actually ran the ball we had success with Singletary, give him more touches.

Was always waiting for that big scoring drive that just didn’t come. So much negative that second half. Can’t get over the fourth down plays today

Agreed, way to cute and wasn't clear what the game plan was. Need to feed Singletary more and take a few more deep shots which will open up. Pitta d line is hard to pass non stop on with those pass rushers you have to keep them honest and we didn't. Bad job by the coaching staff

I’m not gonna freak out over starting 0-1 to a tough team, but I’m definitely back to wait and see mode with this team.

Allen wasn’t bad, given the disgusting performance by his OL and Daboll, but he sure wasn’t good.

The defense… whatever. They gave us a good half and gave up 16 in the second half. Got some tough treatment from the refs when they called holding on Tre White’s should have been interception. To have the 60/40 Levi Wallace PI called after that was tough to take.. but we didn’t lose because of the refs.

We lost because our offense was sonned by the Steelers, Allen was meh, and our coaches were body snatched by crackheads.

And agree that hold called on White on the pick was just wrong. And a huge call. Physicality like that happens so often.

The blocked punt can't happen at this level, it just can't.
I would be curious to see the frequency of punt blocks in college vs NFL. It has to be many times more common in college.

Some 25-Ish year old got hurt when I said the game was over just before the punt block.

son, I forgot more about the Bills than you’ll ever learn. And I could take your seats with one phone call. Take your bad beard and Adios

Taking a step back, I do think the defense is much improved.

I expect the offense to bounce back, but I am legitimately worried about this OL. Them struggling has been a very common theme in games we lose to good teams. No idea why we didn’t address it, and I hope Feliciano picks up his game because he is such a liability and we inexplicably re-signed him.

Those are sub-par Larry Centers numbers, not WR2 numbers
Larry Centers!!! Wow, that’s a guy I completely forgot about.

The Bills got me booted from my Survivor league in week 1. I’m mad.

Yes frustrating no YAC, but the Steelers got tremendous pressure with just 4 guys, so they were on top of all our routes pretty well I thought.

Not sure what the deal was with the longer balls but they seemed to float and get caught but not held onto all game cause of those Safeties.

Pitt has maybe the best edge rusher in the league in TJ Watt. This team was a top defense last season. Clearly they have ton of talent. Their fall last year was bc their line was terrible and they were so 1 dimensional on offense. Pitt could still compete for a playoff spot. It’s not a bad loss, but it’s certainly a frustrating one given how it happened and the missed chances and silly play calls.

I love listening to Bills radio on mondays but after losses it’s obviously tough. Really curious about Tasker’s thoughts though.
