no, your not
No need to call anyone names, I just don't understand why he stuttered when he typed his screen name.moron
We are talking in reality, you're the one who isn't.Lets let this be based in reality. We will find out on the field and in the conference standings soon enough...
We played two BCS teams out of conference in UNC and Illinois that year along with a brutal Big East slate which included two legit top ten teams in Loiusville and WVU.
its a stammer... get it right. No need to call anyone names, I just don't understand why he stuttered when he typed his screen name.

10 wins in 2002. Long time ago for sure, and you guys had 11 in 2006. That was a great season for RU, one you guys should be proud of. Problem is, most fans of SU know that we've had many years that ended in a similar fashion. Rutgers has 2006. It hasn't happened recently, you're right on that. It's just funny to most of us that of all schools, Rutgers fans trash SU as the Big East doormat. You guys were the NCAA's doormat from roughly 1869 to 2006, so obviously you know something about it.Please tell me what year it was again when SU won 11 games? Its been an eternity...

So that makes you second to last...congrats. We still are a better program then you right now.
The Big East was outstanding that year and the best it has ever been with 3/8 teams FINISHING the season ranked in the top 12. RU beat #3 Louisville and took an outstanding WV team to triple overtime on the road. That team with Ray Rice/Brian Leonard in the backfield and three future NFL Olineman would have been a handful for anyone...
I feel very confident that we windup in the Big 10/ACC over the next five years.
See this is what you dummies do not get. You played 13 games that year. That did not happen until recently. From 1987-2000 FSU was Top 5 EVERY year. Four of those seasons they had less than 11 Ws. Does that mean RU had a better season? Because that is what you are implying by saying RU had an 11 W season where are all of SU's? CFB did not start in 2005 jackass.
In addition look at who you played for those 11 Ws it is an Fing joke.
2 Top 40 Ws- #5 Louisville, #31 USF
2 additional Top 50 Ws- #45 Pitt, #47 Navy
3 additional Top 75 Ws- #60 K St, #66 SU, #73 UConn
2 additional Top 100 W- #77 Ohio, #97 UNC
1 additional Top 125 W- #108 Illinois
1 additional Top 250 W- #215 Howard
So you seriously have the nerve to crow about an 11 W season where SEVEN of those 11 Ws were outside of the Top 50? And only ONE Top 25 W (although a very impressive W).
And BTW to say that it was the best the BE has ever been shows that you are a 2005er.
Does it matter if you go from being the last place team in the Big East to the last place team in the ACC(fighting it out with Duke)?
Listen. I get the envy from Rutgers fans. But the truth is simply this: Rutgers has sucked soo badly for so long in the only two sports that matter, that nobody wants you.
We made a horrific hire and it sunk our fb program to the depths that we never thought possible. Rutgers used our poor judgment to doggy-paddle its football snout above water. Reaching football mediocrity as its program zenith.
But it wasn't enough to grab anyone's attention.
Our basketball program is perennial top ten. It has cache and appeal, and we've used it to leverage a lifeboat off Gilligans Island. Now we are looking at riches that'll once again allow us to restore our football program to where it was, and possibly rape and pillage your backyard for recruits, while you somehow try to rub two sticks together to start a fire that you hope is noticed by the big ten, while at the same tome pretending to be happy with your shipwrecked conference mates.
I'd be envious as well, but i wouldn't be surprised that rutgers was passed by.
And just add insult to injury, our athletic director has launched a campaign aimed at taking over the only hope that you fanbase has - its claim to own the new York media market. Suggestions that either team owns New York are ludicrous, but our claim is just a footnote - we've escaped this dumpster fire- your equally futile claim is the best hope you have to keep your athletic department from falling off the face of the earth.
I get the anger and envy.
I grew up in Jersey. Some of my degree credits are even from Rutgers. Can't say I'm a Rutgers fan, though.
Anyway, I hope for your sake that your confidence in getting an ACC/B10 invite is right. Because if not, your team is seriously screwed.
Personally, I think any chance of a B10 invite sailed away with what happened at PSU. Paterno was the one asking for an Eastern partner. Yeah. Not so much incentive for that anymore.
With ND looking like a better fit for the ACC, who is the B10 going to go after? Oklahoma? It will take a ton of work, time, and miracles to extract them from OKState. The B10 only expands with slam dunks.
And the ACC will go after UConn (being a basketball school) way before they sniff at Rutgers.
It's a shame, really. Because a potential rivalry was starting to brew. Mainly because you guys actually put up a fight now. You were everyone's automatic win for decades. I think it's laughable that someone can call a team terrible, and yet lose to that same team twice in the last three years.
I feel very confident that we windup in the Big 10/ACC over the next five years.
And our "house of cards" program is still recruiting better and has better facilities then yours...

Lets be honest, nobody has "penis envy" of the team that finished DEAD LAST in the Big East six out of the last seven years.
But if you say it enough someone might believe you...
Brutal big east schedule? Miami and Tch were long gone. Nothing brutal about it. 3rd place finish.
So therefor you beat Miami through a proxy? Transitive property is 100% legit. Congrats, you're an asshat. To be fair, Louisville (one of the 3 Top 15 teams from the Big East that year) took the big bad Hurricanes behind the woodshed. That and we were tied for 2nd in 2006, not 3rd.
Oh, and this thread sucks.
