Not completely. If a player is tight because they are afraid of being pulled at the first mistake, constantly looking over their shoulder thats on the coach.

Try it. My number one image result was a Rembrandt painting. Not my favorite of his works...Yes.
PS - I'm not gonna google "beef in the paint" because I'm at work.
Just dont use CAPSTry it. My number one image result was a Rembrandt painting. Not my favorite of his works...
That’s if you consider Varsity’s pizza decent. I don’t, but it’s still got to be a step or two above Kansas pizza.Taking Ballard for pizza was probably genius.
You can't get decent pizza in Kansas. Whether it is true or not, I bet they didn't think about that over there in Wichita.
Hopefully Ballard doesn’t like steak.Taking Ballard for pizza was probably genius.

Don’t you get it yet….players DON’T improve or get better! With big men especially, it’s what you see is what you get! Duh.On a serious note, I don't know why people are down on this kid. He is going to be great in the zone and will be with us for multiple years. I actually think he starts after Jesse goes pro.

One thing for sure is that Griff has done a good job with the big guys. Ballard does remind of the big kid he worked with at Dayton who sadly passed away but who developed into a nice player.
He’ll be oursAny inside info??? Commitment nearing??
Steve McElvene.
Continually taking and missing shots you can't make is not a mistakeNot completely. If a player is tight because they are afraid of being pulled at the first mistake, constantly looking over their shoulder thats on the coach.
I realize he didnt play well. I also think he could have been handled better.Continually taking and missing shots you can't make is not a mistake
He’s 240 now. I think we’re ok there.Given this our target sooner he commits and gets to work the better. Be great if he could add another 10 lbs to that frame too.
It comes down to whether he wants to stay home and play in front of friends and family or does he want to go halfway across the country and play in front of corn fields. I'm not sure what 19-year-old me would do, but now it's a no-brainer. And since neither Wichita nor Syracuse is Tallahassee, it should be an easy decision.Look! Actual Ballard News...
His visit to Syracuse was his second. He previously visited Wichita State. Even though he could take as many as five visits, he won’t go past three, according to his mother. At this point, he does not have another visit scheduled.
“He wants to narrow it down and make a decision,’' Regina Ballard said. “He had two great visits and he liked what he heard from each.’'

260 is a lot to haul to the corner on D though.I get that. Bigger kid numbers wise not sure if that translates on the court as directly. Always like to see a big reach an optimal strength. Etan played at 6-10 260 in the league for instance.
Again not saying the kid is the usual beanpole.

How about a JB Reafsnyder type? He was a quality kid off the bench. Will take a Craig Forth clone any day.. We need beef in the paint
Yep. Not quite Jimmy B no brainer but closeHe’ll be ours
