Signed and delivered, I would like to talk about what I expect from him this year. Yes I understand the portal still needs to come . I expect Calvin Russell at worst to be Wr 2 on this team. If johntay cook comes back he has a strong case to be WR1 on this roster. After the portal I will come back and break down his role and my projections for his stats year 1

I think if the staff can coach him up he will be fine he has long limbs and will need to add weight but he has great athleticism. He will definitely show flashes in games and spring ball.

Amare Gough adds real speed to the room and can take the top off the defense. I believe he and Calvin Russell will complement each other nicely. I think both will play early and make an impact in different roles. Calvin has the ability to win 50/50 balls and dominate in intermediate routes, while Amare can be dangerous in the short passing game, jet sweeps, and RPO concepts. I also think both are versatile threats. Can’t wait for spring ball to hear how they’re doing.

That is fair. I don't think he would sign anywhere he did not have a great chance to be an impact player. SU has some pass catchers for sure. I hope he is a complete success.

Gill will be WR1. He will improve even more over the summer. A very hard worker. Trains with a NFL WR trainer in the off weeks. Cook is a bit of an unknown, and could be a transfer. Gill is already stepping into the team leader role according to the recent article where he is working on helping Fran improve on getting the team game ready faster. I have to check if he is going to run track or not this spring. Makes a bit of a difference. I think if he is the true leader, he has to give up track.
