Can Someone Explain Moore's Season to Me?

my old coach used to tell us if you want to play be good at something . if you want to start be great at something. what is it exactly moore is great at ?

Do you believe there are teams drooling over him and ready to offer him a bigger bag? He's been exposed this year. This is isn't high school. Maybe one of his former suitors will chalk this up to a dysfunctional Syracuse program and re-recruit him on potential. Or, he transfers to a mid-major where his playing prospects are better.
All it takes is one team. And a really good PG to help him out. And if I was in charge of Cuse's program, or another program, I would guess his worth is more than what he's shown this year. Same with Chris Bell. We don't have a good engine driving the train, so some guys underperformed.

We have money now. And it isn't from Melo. At least right now.
Ok, so, if it was your money, or you were in charge of distributing it, would you give it to Choppa or give it to someone else in his money slot.

Or, are you inferring, that we should be able to afford a better performer.

Moore isn’t a particularly capable high major player. Remember, even Jalen Carey and Goodine had a few high scoring games as freshmen. They still went off to lower D1 schools.

Some top-100 recruits are only there for potential and if they don’t show the ability to stay on a roster, eh.

Impossible for me to answer. I don't know what players are available. I don't know what those players would cost. I sure hope we can afford a better performer from what we saw this year. That isn't a high bar.

I certainly wouldn't over-pay to keep him, but he could be a pretty good player for us next year.

I hope he doesn’t transfer to a lower level, division-wise. For his sake. Looking at the guys who have transferred from us, has anyone’s situation improved? I think Moore has some potential. But, I don’t have confidence in this staff being able to extract it or to use him appropriately.

Yeah people on here said Judah wasn’t that good either. Our fans are generally poor talent scouts

Despite his 4 star rating, Moore just isn’t very good.

I think it's really hard to do well when you don't know when you're going to play, or if you're going to sit for the last 30 minutes of the game.

What happened to Choppa this year was a travesty. It’s Exhibit A in why Red is not a long term solution here. You don’t bench Choppa to get JC 38 mpg.

He did the same stuff with Freeman at times. Most of the time, Donnie played around half the game or less. Now, he would get the ball taken away from him too much, and too much of his time was spent out by the 3 point line. But he only played 30 minutes 3 times in 14 games.

Is red hoping he leaves knowing Melos kid is going to require minutes?
If I'm Moore I mirror Cuffe. I fire as early and often as I can.

Care to elaborate? Was it that Autry didn't give him enough minutes and let him learn from his deficiencies? Was it that Autry didn't develop his skills well enough in practice?
