Can someone summarize OTL for us right now?

Welsh crushing it right now. He stayed in every hotel room with Bernie for 3 years. The few times he didn't, Bernie's family stayed with him.

The babysitter story is a non story...she saw shades pulled down????? Very suspicious ...puh-leese!

Saying he never saw the kid in the room with Bernie because he was with him in the room. Said Davis would babysit the kids in the hotel room sometimes.

If that is all they have then that is just plain awful. Just a terrible job of dragging a universities name and a guys career in the mud for a horrible story that is full of holes. They better have something way better.

Did the girl say Davis told her that he was abused? Or was it just a "feeling" she got? You have to figure she was interviewed before if she was that close to the situation.

ESPN legal guy, Richard Cossack, states that Bernie isn't at risk to any criminal or civil charges/rulings because of SOL.

Cossack also insinuates a cover up because SU didn't go to DA or Police.

That woman was an idiot. Fine is too for having her around his kids. Dumber than a bag of hammers.

Isn't this the other lawyer that the OJ trial made famous? What's he saying?

Now a lawyer is on saying there is no case can be made. But a cover up could have been made to protect the basketball team.

Cossack the legal analyst on now, paid by ESPN, basically saying that he feels there's a cover up.

You can probably assume that she was interviewed in '05 and denied everything.

*Local businesswoman Danielle Roche, who was a babysitter for the Fines when Bobby was around, says that there were odd occurrences in the home. A lot of secrets, a lot of closed doors, closed blinds. Says that there was a "power struggle" in the home, but I didn't quite grasp what she was trying to get across. Said that when Fine looked at Bobby it wasn't the normal look that an adult gives a child.[/COLOR]

i guess if you have your blinds closed, you are hiding something...my blinds are often closed during the day...no funny business going on in my house...this chick is ridiculous

never

ESPN legal analyst says there is no criminal or civil recourse here due to statute of limitations. SOL in NYS for child molestation is 5 years after the crime. States it's highly unusual that SPD didn't investigate back in 2003, and also unusual that SU conducted its own investigation rather than contact authorities to do so.

If the police were involved, why would SU need to inform the DA? That's not the University's job, thats the PD's job. How stupid are these people, seriously.

PHD who studies these cases is talking about how often false claims are made

Now they bring out a doctor who claims that he rarely ever sees false claims of molestation. Ley leads him to say that cases are often not proven but rarely not unproven.

She never said anything about seeing abuse. Just weird feelings.

ESPN trying to spin it in their favor. They have to at this point.

Why is that odd? There were two other independent investigations going on, and the police had already said they weren't investigating. Why would SU go back to the guys who just said they weren't going to investigate?
