I get this sentiment. But I am going to try to be optimistic until we see next year's team play. We have the same coach, but we have Kline, more money, and hopefully a better grasp on what will work Hopefully we do much better in the portal this year, and hopefully Red has learned a few things. I might be Charlie Brown trying to kick a field goal with Lucy holding, but its optimism or doom, so I'm choosing optimism.

I hear ya. It’s a fair take. I’m hoping for the best too but one would hope after three years of cooking Bell would be ready for a senior year in which he sets the league on fire. My snark is mainly because of the lack of development and our track record in portal roulette.

I think he would do well to drop to a slightly lower level of play.

I think Chris could go either way. If he goes up a level to an NCAA tournament team with good coaching and drivers all over the court, he could be wide open for outside threes. That would fit his game much better than Red’s iso offense

Yup I think it will depend on what is important to him. I can see him having P4 options and I could see him going down a level if he wants to be "the man". He does have an elite skill so I imagine he could and probably will have P4 looks.

He’s going to go somewhere, they’ll teach him play defense, set some picks for him, and he’s going to average 20 points per game on 15 shots per game and less than 2 dribbles per possession.

Crazy thing is there was no progression from sophomore to junior year. If anything there was regression.

He was never my favorite player.
I didnt think much of him after that little temper tantrum earlier this year.
