Never paid much attention to LaLa but following her on Insta and hearing what she says about Kiyan on pods and shows and some of the company she keeps.

Yea I would not mess with MaMa bear when her cub is off to his Freshman year.

Meathead is overboard, but I don't think the Lallys trying to correct the record (in their view) is helping anything. There may have been some wisdom in letting the story cycle out of the news and moving on. I suspect very, very few readers came away from that article thinking anything negative about Mrs. Lally. It seems they're shining more of a light on that (minor) part of the overall story. It probably feels better defending her, but in terms of it changing any public perception the impact is likely very little.

heres is the bottom line.

AW is self employed and the more eyes and attention to his business interests via himself and his social media presence the better I'd imagine is his thought. Like everyone else he's wants to maximize his potential success in whatever ways one can.

So shoot him. It likely stokes is ego too, so what, shoot him for that too if you want. Whether one isn't smart enough to see it, its a win win what hes done in the past for him and the university despite their short shortsightedness not see it. Much like his detractors here too, combined with most working only for others in their lives having no idea what small business self employment and survival is like with the need for as much exposure/eyes on you as possible.

As for SU much like the article concluded they were and remain behind the jones to embrace this reality which is tied up in exposure/NIL, house settlement etc. too short sighted to see this. But their shortsightedness is their right. Dumb IMHO but it's their right.

Much as it is their right to continue this self defeating stance (from a $ perspective that is eschewing another million $), but if they conclude they want no part of him anymore because of the criminal history so be it. Again self defeating especially after the guy has completely owned it, but that’s their right and if so so be it.

As for anyone calling this guy a narcissist they most certainly do not know any narcissists and is 100% wrong. I know narcissists, have an have a lot of experiences with them and if he was I wouldn't be anywhere near him nor on here as I am. When they took the initial shot at to adam completely out of the blue and for no reason he did indeed respond respectfully and tactfully with the dm described in the article and as the transcript adam has and shows.

They/she went scorched earth with inappropriate shots for whatever reason (one can conclude why). Their now continued cheap uneccessary shots speaks volumes as to their lack of character including NOT releasing the whole of the transcript of the give and take back and forth (something I would most certainly do in adams position), rather to this point he sits back and isn't responding. his right too.

at least TRY and get your facts straight. AW made contributions to their choice of charity, while flying them in on his jet. No $ went to them personally. NONE.

And the horror the absolute horror of the fun show it was in the dome, having this exposure where everyone had a good time, creating good exposure for SU, AW etc.. And the article failed to make another point straight, AW paid all his bills to SU including security and has the receipts to show such

In reality I'm was an AA football player back in the day, now HOF, self employed in business 35 years, big like you and still an in shape 6'2" 250 and can be found the last 25 years a big part of the fine mess/Syracruz tailgate crew if you ever want to discuss this stuff face to face.

I imagine most of us have donated to a collective - I thought the point wasn’t personal recognition but helping the team we’re all fans of, compete in this new era, isn’t it or not? Who actually donated from this board to get slaps on the back, public recognition with their name, pictures and stories in the newspapers etc? If I wanted recognition, I’d buy an ad just saying that I support my local team. If I owned a company and had money, I’d have a commercial promoting my company and its commitment to SU and the community. I’d be an SU sponsor including ads in the dome during games like so many other firms already do. I’d sponsor a money making golf tournament, pickleball tournament etc to support my team etc. I’d buy game tickets for organizations like Big Brothers, children’s welfare organizations, schools, military families etc to attract a new generation of fans. I’d buy and donate tickets to be auctioned off at charity events hoping to cultivate even more interest in the community for my team while also supporting a worthy community charity. (heck even I’ve done that). It’s not really hard.
