Clemson Postgame

if you removed the ball going in part.

the first half with all its flaws was a 6-7 pt game. we turned it into almost 20.

how many layups did we miss 8-10?

but the 5th grade turnovers up top just add up.
We shot 54%. That should win 95% of games. We turned it over more than them, but it was just 14 times.

The other end of the court was a far bigger problem. We can’t block shots or generate steals and they shot 56%. We also lost the rebounding battle.

Just an absolute clown post.

From all accounts, Choppa is a great dude that works hard and has his head on straight.

Him getting frustrated at the end of the game and making an unnecessary play doesn't mean he only cares about his stats. That's ludicrous.

One of my least favorite parts of board commentary is the comfort level some posters have extrapolating unflattering personality and character flaws based on what guys do in sports.
I'm not a fan of that play but at least he gives a sht.

Hey I like the kid.. but you don't do that , it was Bush league and it was all about his stats.. plain and simple.

Reading today our problem on defense was Freeman... So...

Louisville makes the move to bring in a PROVEN head coach and they immediately turned it around in one damn year to the point they’re ranked, second in the league and talking about what seed they’re going to get. Why the hell can’t Wildhack see all of this and make a damn move. My apathy has turned back into anger at the thought of putting up with this pathetic bs for another year when we have examples of places like Louisville and how quickly they fixed their program.

Points off turnovers was 4 to 19 and was 0 to 19 at one point. That's the spread right there. And most of the turnovers, at least in the 1st half were unforced. 2nd half we only had 5 to's.

St. Thomas (MN) has only been a D1 basketball program for 3 years and they have a better NET (104) than us. There is no reason Syracuse can’t turn this program around in 1 year with a new coach.

Sure Clemson won the game but god are they one ugly team. The funniest thing is the ugliest guy , Heidbreder is in fact the product of low breeding with that negative chin

We are 340th in the country in defensive turnover percentage, 352nd in steal percentage and 283rd in block percentage. We force absolutely no turnovers or the threat of altering shots.

14 isn’t great, but it’s not egregious either. The bigger problem to me is we only forced 7. We are 332 in the country in opponents turnovers per game and 350th in steals.

When you’re not close to your man or no pressure on the ball it’s hard to get steals. There’s no one on this team that shows any anticipation on defense.
