Yeah I’d lean towards agreeing at this point especially because being a rangers fan is also not fun right now the way they seem to screw every situation up. In the end, I have a hockey team to look forward too lol

No. It's the Chancellor hire that is imminent - as in tomorrow. The AD will follow. The AD will NOT have unilateral decision making power in who the new HC will be.

You want the chancellor and AD hires in place to make any coaching decision effectively and for negotiations with candidates, etc. I don't think it's a bellweather on an internal HC hire at all.

AZ indicated in the AD thread that it sounded like Lyke is perhaps Michigan bound with Kent. Assuming that holds true, I would guess Syracuse will have added an AD from outside the university unless there was an additional internal candidate? Fresh perspective from outside the university is a good thing. Perhaps that will spur a similar outcome on the coaching side with hoops.

I understand the current situation around funding for NIL and Syracuse Basketball. But if we make the correct hire, I think it will immediately rejuvenate the fan base and the money will come in quick. Just my 2 cents.
