It’s either that or g5 coordinator. Maybe nfl position coach.
 
We know the formula, lower level guy with success / rising position coach / up and comer… of that variety.

Discounting the Alabama and Texas A&M people, the name that stuck out first:


Fran Brown, DB Coach, Rutg**s at #25.

If we are dead set on a TE coach, after connecting some dots maybe Jeff Gallo from Monmouth. Jersey guy, well respected, put multiple guys in the NFL and is the current OC/TE coach. Our WR coach Mike Johnson started following him recently on Twitter and several orange players already do. He’s been at Monmouth since 2005 coaching and played their prior so not sure he’s looking to leave but they did just hire a new head coach.

TE seems like the least prioritized position in our offense.

In losing Anae, White and Monroe and adding just Long, our recruiting talent is currently less impactful. We need someone who can recruit and the position coaching is far less important.

It’s why I prefaced it by saying, “If we are dead set on a TE coach.”

He would make a lot of sense. Give him Jersey and then get a kick arse Florida guy
