Almost as rich is you posting like an authority on a subject that you know next to nothing about. That's real rich coming from you.
In this case it's coaching.

Why the need to assign blame?
If any of you have heard the phrase, “the wailing and gnashing of teeth of the disappointed” this thread is a good example of what I think the phrase is trying to communicate.
Because five consecutive years of being on the bubble isn't fun.
So when you aren’t having “fun” you need to assign blame to those who are or may be at fault for your lack of fun?
Because we love Syracuse and want to right the ship, and as fans, we discuss what needs to be done. Let me objectively ask you this: Name one player on the team who has improved from last year who was on the team last year. I can't. People can say we don't have the talent we used to have. Probably not, but my point is this, even if our team was made up entirely of one and two star recruits, one would expect player development and improvement over the years. I bleed orange, but I have not seen much player development from year to year recently, hence I go to the common denominator. The players should get better, IMO they simply don't. Not an attack at you at all, just my two cents. Why the need to assign blame?

You realize that assigning blame doesn’t = hate/dislike.So when you aren’t having “fun” you need to assign blame to those who are or may be at fault for your lack of fun?
I think this would have been completely fair in 2017. But this is our 5th bubble season in a row. At some point we are what our record says we are, and since 2014-15 we 100-65. 5 years isn't an aberration
first, I agree with the “you are what your record says you are” especially if you are considering a five year span. Hard to argue with that.
I guess it’s the crapping all over everything that seems to overlay some sort of entitlement that’s bothersome.
So your argument is that in fact the coaches are doing a good job?Coaching led to all the turnovers and a D that kinda kept us in it.
Its going to be a long night when a 'shaky' Frankie Howard is your best player he was clearly not his best despite being our only good player next to Marek. This falls on Tyus and Oshae. I don't think Elijah is good enough to be expected to carry scoring on this team if hes hot great if hes off reduce his role and play Marek or maybe Bras.
Very bad Brissett and Battle showed up last night they were uconn/oregon level bad. So we lost. Simple as. Buddy hurts the team when he can't make threes. The centers have taken a few steps backwards after improving they are at their OOC levels again which sucks.
Not sure how you can point this one at JB especially since he went to Bras and Carey with the regulars sucking so bad.
You realize that assigning blame doesn’t = hate/dislike.
Our program has been medicore in the regular season for 5 years in a row.
With little change to how things are done.
My god I respect JB and know he has given a lot to SU but we don’t live in a world where the fanbase should just sit back and shut the hell up.
Fans pay the bills. You want apathy.

We have all our starters back from last year and players haven’t developed why?
Why offer praise then? Two sides of the same coin.So when you aren’t having “fun” you need to assign blame to those who are or may be at fault for your lack of fun?
Flynn and Greene’s Fr. year > than Freshman we have had since except Ennis.I think that is on the players checking out this summer thinking they had a foot in the NBA working out with private trainers and getting worse. And honestly the fans more than the coaches push that nonsense. You tell me why 90% of this board considers Battle gone when he has a year of eligibility left and has ZERO and I mean ZERO shot of being drafted in the first round.
People think he should give up on the NBA completely and go straight to Europe instead of maybe coming back better for his senior season? He can't have an offseason when he doesn't get worse? He can't work on playing PG in the offseason so hes competent there? None of that is on JB.
Brissett ditto. Who is going to draft him when he can't make a contested layup still. He has 2 more years to learn how to do that why would he leave Syracuse with eligibility remaining to go undrafted again? To make 50k in Lithuania? To get 5 minutes a night for the Erie Ballhawks or Maine Red Claws? Our ing fans think hes gone though and has zero chance to return.
We didn't pull this crap when Flynn or Greene were here and good as freshman people were shocked Donte left to take the money. For some reason once Ennis showed up we started treating every competent freshman like Zion Williamson or Carmelo Anthony. Its a joke.
We're way past disappointment. What are the 5 stages of grief again? I think we're at acceptance. If any of you have heard the phrase, “the wailing and gnashing of teeth of the disappointed” this thread is a good example of what I think the phrase is trying to communicate.
If I recall JB only switched when they practically begged him repeatedly in timeouts.Jonny Flynn was a stud offensive player. He was a bad fit for the zone and that team wanted to play m2m as it was good at it.
JB would switch to it when we were getting torched.

Firstly, the 8-4 is an incomplete metric. So, you or any other smart coach could take this same bunch and be better than 8 - 4 in ACC play? Not buying it.
