I didn’t realize that we were winning at the time and that was the last play of the game?? Even with a holding call, our chances of winning is 50/50 at best.

it is easy to blame the refs, but coaching lost this one. Dino quit once he got paid.

The D never adjusted for Travis. FSU had more yards per play rushing that throwing. Not sure if I have seen that ever in a P5 game. He held them to 6 yards per completion and still gave up 33 points.

The refs were a huge part of this one. Bad luck was huge (fumble TD). But that doesn't excuse the D. It doesn't excuse the horrible play calling in the 1st Q. It doesn't excuse the 4th down play call. It doesn't excuse the horrible clock management in the 1st half. It doesn't excuse the bad play calling goal to go on the FSU goaline "stand" nor the last drive.

Close games the refs and coaching decision are huge. We have had bad both now in our 2 BCS games. We cannot control the refs. We can control our coaching decisions.

We should have been up 4. 1st and goal from the 9 Dino can't call those plays they aren't letting us run it in with Tucker.

Tucker was out of the game on second and third down. Mind boggling.

DB poor clock management at the end of the first half.
DB going conservative on last series and setting for a FG.

What was devito jumping up and down with glee in Shrader's face for, after that last series? I saw it. Period.

I certainly don't want to try to co-create some narrative here, but when that happened, I was thinking, would he be this gleeful if Shrader just made a great play? Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to imply anything here, but it was odd (at the least) that he was so cheerful after we just botched an opportunity to move forward.

Not sure why Taj was out but if it had to do with his attitude then we need to move on. He is good when he catches balls but that is not an automatic. Number of drops in his career.
We have other wr that can make plays. The more time GS gets with the 1st team the better the passing game will be.
