Just an observation from my own life. I work in NYC and everyone in my large workplace knows I'm a cuse fan. I can't tell you how many times I've been stopped over the past few days and have been told the following by co-workers: - You guys had a great run but it's over now. - You better start drinking early because your game will be over by halftime. - I can't believe a dirty program like yours made it this far. - All of the cheating is paying off for you guys, good luck.

I throw venom back at these people but it's very sad to see what a horrible perception have of our program. It could be a Cinderella, feel good story but has turned into "this cheating team never belonged to begin with and will get destroyed."

Just an observation..is anyone else out there going through the same thing?

We need to change our color to black, how can one possibly cheer for the Cuse against the sky blue Tar Heels who run the most squeaky clean NCAA program. Good v Evil - end of story.

Direct the haters to the primer on Otto's Grove. Or do like Marsh01 did the other day and just post the contents of the article right in the reply section of the haters dumb posts on Facebook.

It's the useful guide one. Jeff did a pretty good job with that one.

Perhaps this is the answer you're looking for?

Not unlike discussing politics or religion - when it comes to sports, you're:
A - probably not going to change anybody's mind, period
B - definitely not going to change anybody's perception if you act like a .

If you can't change their minds no matter what, I say just go with the acting like a part.

Are the people who are saying we are going to get crushed the same people saying we're cheaters and don't deserve success? If so, that seems a little duplicitous given our opponent Saturday night.

If paying kids to ref Y games and adding footnotes to a paper of a kid who spoke portuguese is "dirty" ... I'd like to find out where these haters went to school (if at all).

Does anyone else find it odd being a basketball powerhouse that people are treating us like a mid major?

So our we are playing the alleged perpetrators of the largest academic fraud in NCAA history and our program is the "dirty" one?

Addendum: I believed that we deserved some sanctions for our transgressions. However, like most Orange fans I thought the NCAA punishment was way beyond appropriate for our relatively minor infractions. The scale and scope of the alleged violations at UNC make our "violations" seem like a jaywalking ticket.

Basically Boeheim got a 5-10 year prison sentence for someone else stealing a candy bar from a local Wal-Mart.

Speaking of rampid, maybe some damprid will get rid of the haters.
