Y'all slacking. Last winter, my state set the Coldest wind chill in the History of the US, at -108F.We’ve been bad lately regarding snowfall totals. National Ranking based on the number of cities that beat us. We’ve even lost the Golden snowball award within NYS.

I hiked Washington in the winter, once, via Amonoosuc Ravine. Relatively mild conditions, but the top of the head wall was solid globby ice. Crampons are a wonderful thing.Y'all slacking. Last winter, my state set the Coldest wind chill in the History of the US, at -108F.
I expect more outta you.
lol complain to them. If it’s wrong I swear I didn’t make it up." National Ranking based on the number of cities that beat us."
That's a weird thing to suggest (and obviously untrue).
and 1/3 of the college cities at minimum.“It also snows in many NFL cities too“
And given that people are starting to really notice and lament the loss of decent snow storms, we really should lean into and embrace it. I hate that NYC hasn’t had a decent storm in years.Snow is freaking beautiful. Embrace it as a positive. Because it IS.
If you click on the header "Rank" you'll see that the ranking refers to the snowiest years in Syracuse history. 1993 is ranked 1st at 207.9 inches. 2007 is ranked 2nd at 184.6. 2005 is ranked 3rd at 176, etc.lol complain to them. If it’s wrong I swear I didn’t make it up.

One has to wonder if our snow rankings have seen artificial bumps all these years. We’ve been bad lately regarding snowfall totals. National Ranking based on the number of cities that beat us. We’ve even lost the Golden snowball award within NYS.

That rascal Dohn at it again bumping our snow rankings. One has to wonder if our snow rankings have seen artificial bumps all these years.
I'm afraid to ask--'crampons' aren't some sort of post-menopausal product, are they?I hiked Washington in the winter, once, via Amonoosuc Ravine. Relatively mild conditions, but the top of the head wall was solid globby ice. Crampons are a wonderful thing.
I have preached the same thing for years. Tired of the excuses. Now we have a coach who is the best recruiter in the nation and is building a legacy. I hope all the posters that made “the weather” the excuse as to why we were bad read this post.Do they ask kids going to OSU or Michigan or Wisconsin or Penn State about snow?
Ridiculous.

It literally doesn’t make sense at all.I hate that this snow in Syracuse is a thing...If you want to play in the NFL, half the teams are in snow areas, going to have to deal with it at some point. Plus we have a sweet dome, snow should be a nonfactor imo.
It’s just something for the media to be negative about because they know nothing of our program other than we have been down.I hate that this snow in Syracuse is a thing...If you want to play in the NFL, half the teams are in snow areas, going to have to deal with it at some point. stole my line, "embrace the snow'. Just told my wife this morning, as long as i am not shoveling it or driving in it, i like it. Actually bought a pair of snowshoes and head over to Green Lakes. It's just as beautiful there as it is in the summer. Last year, I was bummed because there was so little snow it never happened. The team plays indoors, and practices indoors when necessary, why should he careAnd given that people are starting to really notice and lament the loss of decent snow storms, we really should lean into and embrace it. “Syracuse? Really? Are you SURE you want to go there? There’s still time to change your mind.”I hate that this snow in Syracuse is a thing...If you want to play in the NFL, half the teams are in snow areas, going to have to deal with it at some point.
