Those games were exemptions to the 11 game rule that CFB used to have. I agree we dont have a large fanbase but with all the other NFL stadiums doing preseason bowl games Metlife would be smart to do as well. Our Penn State game in 2013 was a respectable 61,202. Metlife would make money with that attendance figure and most years would probably get more.They did that for 20 years. Then with new NCAA rules those type of games went away only to reappear sometime later under new names and locations, but the Kickoff Classic didn't. We participated 3 times. Our games were some of the least attended.
