He isn’t a good 3 pointer shooter only making 33% of them.
So how is he better than either Barrett or Zion?
It was a bad fit for Reddish because he wasn’t as good as Williamson and Barrett and had to play a game where he didn’t have the ball in his hands and he was a shooter when that isn’t his strength.
Then why would he get drafted before either Zion or Barrett?
It is so annoying how you fight these points just because. If Reddish was another team he would have been the number 1 option and the ball would have been in his hands more and he could played his game.
On Duke he was option 3 and wasn’t getting the ball in his hands he was getting passes to shoot 3’s.
Reddish took as many shots as Zion. If you're annoyed by my posts, feel free to hit the ignore button.
BTW...this is Reddish's game:
"Didn’t always bring it with competitiveness and energy, went through the motions but has picked it up in the past year … Tends to settle too often for outside shots ... More of a streaky shooter than knock down right now ... Jump shooting. Can improve upon his consistency and efficiency ... Shot 40.3% from the floor over the Nike EYBL ... Had a few forgettable three-point shooting performances over the Nike EYBL (0-6 vs California Supreme, 1-8 vs Houston Hoops, 1-8 vs Howard Pulley, 0-5 vs Spiece Indy Heat, 1-8 vs All Ohio Red, etc.), shot 28.6% from three over the EYBL season ... Shot 3/20 from the field and 0/9 from three at the adidas Eurocamp … Can clean up his ball handling as he can get loose at times … Can improve strength level … "
