That is my theory too. When he opted out, I figured he was gone. He can go to Coastal, GA Southern or ECU.

With the 3-3-5, it looks like we are targeting DEs who are in the 270-280 range. Cooper would have to really transform his body to get to that size. He seems naturally thin; I think his forte is quickness and agility.

Another guy who doesn’t fit the new scheme really well. Can’t see him in a mullet at Coastal, chewing tobacco and getting multiple tats, but you never know...

Wish Cooper the best of luck but not playing football for two years will definitely have a major effect on his skills. See him playing for a FCS school like Furman, Charleston Southern, Mercer, etc. and again, I wish him the best of luck!

He left because of reynolds, also said we lost a recruit to WVU due to reynolds, if that's the case he should be replaced, not just that but he hasn't recruited well at all and he's not exactly developing his guys.

I don't know enough to go so far as to agree with this, BUT...If D.C. Tony White sees an issue, then given what we have already seen from him, I would absolutely support a change whether it's d/t coaching, recruiting, or relationship-building.
