Did tony bring in any of his own guys, if i remember correctly he did not, wonder even if he liked some assts he makes any moves

Neither the article or the comments were behind a paywall or VIP. That said its site courtesy to not clip and paste would be my take. If people want to see it they can go over to the site.
 
Where are the incoming transfers? Some ACC programs are already bringing in some big time talent. What is the delay?

Anyone else watching the signing day show, seeing what falls into the factories laps makes me jealous, PITT at 30 would seem to me to be a great class for them. Liberty has their own show on espn+, if they can get hugh to stay you'd have to figure they leap to a big network, I'd figure cbs with sec leaving and liberty having a pretty legit schedule.

They screwed up and should have been VIP...VIP still doesn't mean squat. Any opposing team with a VIP membership can read VIP comments on any board nationwide from what I can tell. VIP Nuggets can be used against you by the enemy.

My take: the new analyst is a young guy (former SU GA with no ties to SU) has an opinion. My opinion is in any organization various leaders/staff have to play different roles. Maybe he is the designated Hard Azz. I want my Defensive guys tough. If HCDB thought it was a huge problem he would correct it...heck he fired his SIL's Dad.

I still recommend joining as a VIP over there. They are running a 60% off special which runs out soon.

Former GA, now a writer on a fansite.

Wonder what the story is there. And if he ever had any desire to stay in coaching, he can kiss that good bye.
 
Reynolds has an impressive bio and is a good recruiter. He’s part of the reason that TD ended up at Syracuse.
Maybe Dawson and Reynolds simply had different personalities.
Or just maybe, we’re putting way too much stock into this random guy’s hearsay and speculation.

I think you make a very strong last point. Also, posting things of that nature sure looks like valuable insider info...while trying to sell subscriptions. Not saying this is the case...just a possibility.

Not sure, so far he seems to add FB chops to the writing over there. I don't think Stephen played the game too much. I'm enjoying his takes. If I was writing the take... I'd be more diplomatic. Maybe say "some feel Coach X is too abrasive and doesn't work well for some current and past players and recruits"...just my 2 cents

The warrior language that is constantly used for football is unreal. Nothing about football is a battle, it's a game and I love it but let's not forget that their are soldiers out there right now actually risking their lives.

As a combat veteran: using military type images and words doesn't bother me. Can the use go over the top? Sure, but I think most can make the distinction. Just my 2 cents. Carry on. :p
