Just seems so counter-intuitive.
Honestly I have no idea. Just going with the flow.

No idea, but it’s a funny narrative. Honestly wouldn’t surprise me.Does he really smoke? Really?

Coaching change. Marek is a match up problem for most teams. Teams are forced to account for him from the foul line down. He is realizing he can take guys. If they collapse we have three guys that can light it up. Getting the ball to him in the middle creates lots of options. Not sure what has happened but it seems like over the past few games bot Dolezaj and Sidibe seem to ne bigger factors in the game. They are getting rebounds, they are scoring and the "biggie" is they are not fouling out. Coaching change or just maturing? Regardless, if they continue to play like this, the Orange will be hard to stop. LGO
Has been a revelation in the post. He’s put some old school moves on bigger guys and been really effective. There is a ton of room for him to operate with three shooters on the floor. Great footwork.
He’s more than a glue guy now.
When you say coaching change, do you mean actual coach or change in coaching technique?Coaching change. Marek is a match up problem for most teams. They sound hot...Not that this is any inside info about Marek, but knew a couple girls playing D1 volleyball from Croatia and they smoked like chimneys. They were really good, too.
Volleyball obviously much different than basketball...

I mean great coaching. He is taking advantage of match up opportunities. Isolating Marek, Buddy, and of course Hughes. Seeing how he is using Marek the last few games is just great coaching. When you say coaching change, do you mean actual coach or change in coaching technique?
That move in the second half, left side of the lane was beautiful. Quick fake inside to his right, then turned back left and put it off the glass.
Gorgeous.
SureOlajuwon-esque
Absolutely great coaching. Like night and day over the last few games. LGOI mean great coaching. He is taking advantage of match up opportunities. Isolating Marek, Buddy, and of course Hughes. Seeing how he is using Marek the last few games is just great coaching.
He's been fantastic. Just wish he could stop getting into foul trouble.Has been a revelation in the post. He’s put some old school moves on bigger guys and been really effective. There is a ton of room for him to operate with three shooters on the floor. Great footwork.

Wait. Did he not have a dumb 70 feet from the basket foul tonight? I can’t recall one. He's been fantastic. Just wish he could stop getting into foul trouble.
An offensively assertive Marek is my favorite kind of Marek.

No team is going to leave the shooters. As long as he knows where the other big guy is, he knows where to make his move. You cannot leave Hughes, Girard or Buddy and they are standing out at the three point line. It has been so important that he has started to take advantage of this. And if he can draw the other big man, he can dump it down. It has been really fun to watch this team develop this year.Marek's definitely getting better at recognizing quickly when the defense on him is lax and he has an opportunity.

Coaching probably didn’t change - execution has changed. The awakening usually shows up in practice.
