Just learned that Vandy DID offer yesterday. He declined.

I admittedly was worried about the Vandy interest. Great academics and ~2 hour proximity to your home. Truly Steven had a bunch of great options to choose from and, albiet some late in the game, finally got some of the recognition he had always deserved.

My wife poo poo'd the idea of naming our son Sterling Mallory. I asked and she gave me a look that I still haven't figured out. It's funny how quickly some people are willing to discard other people's great ideas.

Glad Steven chose Cuse! Seeing as that's who you wanted him to pick, I'm sure you were just as anxious as the rest of us! lol.
Can't wait to meet the family at a tailgate! Being in VA, I make it to a couple of the road games/tailgates a year (UVA and NCState this year).
Might try to make it to a home game this year if I achieve my goals for new employment (Job in the field I'm in college for, more money, weekends off).
I'm really looking forward to meeting all the board parents! Our tailgates are amazing and a true representation of the Cuse family!
We are truly blessed to have your son, and his family, representing our team/school.

Great commentary from Daoust on Steven. Suggests he can be a "cornerstone of the defense" for a long time. Really high praise.
