Unfortunately, on the heels of the PSU Sandusky incident, the timing couldn't have been worse. The lynch mobs have already been formed and they are looking for more prey.

The Duke lacrosse team wasn't accused of molestation of young boys a couple weeks after a giant national story just came out almost like it though.

And I am sure the timing of it was random too.

This isn't Sandusky where there are multiple victims/witnesses. This is one guy saying something 15 years after the fact. I am not buying it. The timing of it was certainly purposed.

No. But there was a huge outcry and people were outraged over one individuals' lies. In that sense I think they will turn out to be quite similiar.

Agree with seattle. Timing is everything. Hopefully this is closer to Duke than PSU.
