Really thought Netherlands would make it to the semis. Game between Belgium and Portugal has the potential to be epic.

Yeah this one is a shocker. That said and even with the red and missed chances, this Czech team played well in the group stage too.

A little surprised. Czech Republic seemed very disorganized against Italy in the friendly leading up to the Euros. They’ve come a long way since then.

It's easily the greatest game in the world (to me), but we really need to figure out how to reward players like Lukaku for not going down when players are hanging on his jersey for 15 yards... Even for a top-10 player in the world -- who may be underrated!!!
You see it at every level now... players that go down somewhat easily are rewarded, players that fight through a foul are ignored.
Hopefully that play is a catalyst. Brutal miss.

If anything the Czech performance showed anything can truely happen. Especially on that side.
soccer has some strange ways to decide keys plays in the games.
the PK the other day where the defender was kicking the ball and the offensive dude sticks his foot in front of the ball at the last 2nd and he kicks it becomes a PK.. the exact same play at the other end of the field would have been a PK the other way. thats a tough rule.
really though at the these high levels will so much money around they cant afford a ref for each half of the field or a couple more side judges so things dont get missed so often trying to keep up with plays 100 yds at a time..
look at other sports as the play gets faster at higher levels they add more refs. baseball starts with 1 goes to 2 in HS to 4 at most levels and then to 6 in the playoffs. Basketball goes from 1 to 2 at many levels to 3. football does the same.. but not soccer with the biggest field lets have 1 dude run for his life for the longest time period and a couple dudes on the side try to keep up with sprinters..
I got Croatia +550 so I love it.
Just bunker down now as Spain’s strikers do not scare me.

Looks like that OG woke up Spain's offense.
It's crazy, the teams which looked really good in the group stages are undewhelming so far. Dutch-out, Ital y -extra time, Belgium - looked just okay against pretty unimaginative Portugal side.
Looking forward to seeing what France does later today. I think England/Germany goes to PKs at 1-1 and Germany wins.
Italy and France are the two best teams I've seen.

I’d think at Spain 5-3 this has to be game over. But how things have gone… I’m not as confident saying that as I should be.
