Fan support and making the program more successful

It's not tailgating without vehicles. It's a picnic.

Who said I wouldn't let people take their cars? I'd love to make it a free-for-all shitfest.

Yeah, I was picturing something like this in the quad.

I like where your head's at. I was thinking more like a sea of this.

Not everyone can have a high school parking lot across the street from their stadium.

It's simple cost/benefit economics. I really cannot emphasize this enough- the perception surrounding Syracuse football to the casual fan is that we are not good. That's what happens when you drop to one of the worst teams in the country for a period of time. The room for error is slim. Last year was a big step back. Again, most people who would be attending these games are not posting on a syracuse sports forum. They are mostly influenced by one thing- the final score of the game. They aren't sitting there analyzing the game, the stats, the recruits, the injuries, the circumstances, the coaching, etc. For some reason, people don't understand this concept.

And... does fan support make a winning team, or does a winning team bring in fan support? I think the more likely sequence is the latter. It's a chicken/egg scenario.
