Can Beck play? Maybe UGA should be left out like FSU was.
Beck was 7-13 for 57 yards in the 1st half. He's not good. Him and Ewers both were slow with reads and missed several throws. I was not impressed with either. Stockton and Arch would have been a more exciting game.

Guessing:

Oregon
Georgia
Boise St
Arizona St

Hopefully SMU holds on.

SMU is gonna get screwed. The "committee" prioritizes the Power 2, and everyone else is an afterthought...especially the ACC.
Book markit!

SMU deserves to be in, and it is a big deal for the ACC to get two teams in, but I have a real bad feeling they will come up with some BS to let the SEC get 4 teams in.

Wouldn't be interesting if Beck for Georgia can't play? Hmmm...if I could just think of a time the committee said that mattered?

Iowa State got murdered and dropped 2 spots

UNLV lost by 14 points and dropped 5 spots

Penn State lost in a game they were never in and dropped 2 spots

SMU lost on a last second 56 yard FG and dropped 4 spots

These things don’t make sense.

I know Iowa State and UNLV are irrelevant to the convo but the whole thing is whacked.

*get rid of preseason rankings
*amend a rule that you can’t be penalized for championship games
*expand the playoff to 24 teams (all the rule changes to improve parity and the portal have worked so include more teams)
*if you want to have an exclusive party that’s rigged then I like the idea of having an NIT playoff. This would be so great. Bye bye bowl games.

Vegas odds moving slightly to Bama being in….but the overall odds still heavily favors SMU.

Again it is impossible to keep SMU out. You can’t penalize a team for making a conference championship game and losing, and reward a team for not being good enough to make a conference champnioship game (and thus not playing).

If you keep SMU out, you end conference championship games. There is no reason for anyone to play in them any longer. Too much money would be lost. The SEC and B1G understand the money involved. SMU is in.
