And the dynamics have changed dramatically since Red’s hiring. We did the family hire and it’s gone terribly. NIL and direct player compensation are much bigger factors since Red’s hiring.

A coaching hire is always a crapshoot. But I’m not worried about who’s still on the Hill. Times have changed a lot and this hire will be handled much differently.

I tried to be patient with Red and knew he had a huge load on his shoulders trying to put together a winning team. I wanted to give him as much time as he needed to build success.
Problem is, I have come to realize that what I see is a coach that is incapable of coaching a winning strategy when involved with difficult games.
I watch Red during time outs and when the cameras are on in him and I see a man looking to his assistants for advice as other head coaches do as well but his demeanor still looks beaten.
Against Clemson, he did show some unusual emotion where it seemed to affect his teams effort in a positive way unfortunately, it wasn’t enough and way too late.
I like Red Autry and I could still wait by giving him more time but something tells me it would just be more heartache.

Can someone explain what Jim does day to day? I can’t imagine it’s much more than collecting his mail, talking to some boosters, media, etc and leaving around 12pm daily (or once a week).

People who are around the AD’s office have repeatedly said that JB is barely involved and rarely present there.

Brownell just latched onto the "But Freeman's back!" narrative that some here are still pushing. Yes, we'll be better with Freeman. No, ultimately it won't matter.

8-11 by my quick review. Seemed like we closed out close games much better than this year and last year. Credit to Judah once again
