And what do the deep pocketed alumni/boosters want? Are they embarrassed by the downfall of their prestigious institution. A team that they remember were a top 25 ncaa tournament team almost every year.

Not only does Wildhack need to be working the phones figuring out the next coach situation, but he needs to be on the phone right now lining up the funds necessary to hire a top coach and properly fund next year's NIL to get the best transfers out there.

A lot of universities, have an endowed head coaching position where someone has donated a lot of money so the head coaching position is named after them. Harvard has it, but even a school like LeMoyne has it. Why doesn't Cuse?
We do have the Roy D. Simmons Jr. Head Men's Lacrosse Coach endowment, thanks to Brett Jefferson & FOSL.

I’ve always been surprised that our AD, BB and FB positions are not endowed.

Pretty much low hanging fruit

What they wanted last time was continuity with a failed and underperforming coach. Hopefully they learned their lesson

That is probably true coming from JW. I just have a thought that could change things. I don't know if I feel comfortable sharing this because it is all mine about something I could see happening
I assume you’re alluding to the new chancellor being more… amenable to AW’s antics?

only reason i can think of is that if the assistant does well, then people will clamour for them to be the next coach. We need a clean break
no one other then the assistants family will clamour for anyone on this staff to be hired.

SU fans wanting another family hire:

Saying the fans were disrespectful for booing is crazy when the fans pay your 7-figure salary and you couldn't bother fouling when down single digits with over a minute left in order to try to win the game.

They’re going to lose out, it’s kind of insane. All that talent and red can’t even get them to play 30 minutes, let alone 40

Honestly…. I’m there with a midseason firing. This is so beyond unacceptable.
It's not 1997, a coach can and should be let go midseason. There are things way more important than optics. This program won't even be able to have the funds to hire a staff with the amount of money that goes out the door every day he's allowed to remain coach.

What money are you speaking of?

Are you going to can him with no buyout??

Won't work cuz of contracts and stuff...
