Fla St HAS to be a win.

Your starting QB had 2 turnovers, and 4 sacks. We lost that game on offense, our defense played well enough, without the turnovers we have a good chance to win the game.

We lost to Rutgers. This is not settling in for anyone on this thread.

We’ve gone from fire Dino to bring high on fumes that we should beat FSU at their house. It ain’t gonna be easy.

CRUSH THE SEMINOLES!!!

Already excited about this game, almost spur of the moment bought plane tickets and went to the game but remembered this game is in the toilet bowl section of Florida and there is nothing near it and prices are stupid and don’t want to drive 3+ hours to and from the game

Go Orange!

I’m not bully for Saturday either, but Rutgers beat their FCS opponent…

I watched the game.
Louisville is good. Very good. Like win the ACC good.

Florida State is beatable but they have talent and lots of it.

Because they are undisciplined its critical that we play field position and force them to make long drives. Im very concerned that they are going to go deep on our young DBs who have never seen speed and talent like the wrs from Florida State.
We need to not allow anything deep. Let them run or dink their way down the field. Keep everything in front and we win. As to the O we can RPO them to death. Run the ball down and run some more. They will fold. But dont give up the long ball.

Haven’t checked the numbers but they (Louisville) are very good on offense and pretty bad on D. They are Liberty, IMO

I expect that Florida St. is going into this game feeling like we represent a good shot for them to get a win and get back on track. They're going to want to impose their will.

That said... mentally and emotionally they can't be in a great place right now. That's a fragile team and there's real blood in the water.

We need to be the hunter. Make them react. They do have athletes that can do things individually, but they are a mess as a team. Put them in a tough spot and let the pressure build and they're probably not going to respond well.
Yeah, if we can put some scores on them early or keep the game a low scoring ugly one in the 4th, they may het frustrated and fold.

I actually think white knuckling with a "keep it close and take our shot in the 4th" mindset is a recipe for disaster.

You want the idea of winning to be far out of range for Florida State so they get that sick to the stomach feeling that it's happening again.

Having them hang around won't do that. But some big plays and scores/turnovers that get doubt to creep in and start fights on the sideline... that's the ticket.

The Liberty team in the second half was the real Liberty Team. The first half that were over whelmed with the Dome glitz and being on ACC network.

Is anybody saying we expect to have an easy win? I don't think so. What I'm reading is more like, "We need to play well so that we can take advantage of a team while they're down and get closer to bowl eligibility."

Yea but let’s also not make him run 30 times we need to dig into our stable a little more we’re gonna run the kid into the ground and cause serious injury
One of the good things about playing on a Friday this past week. Tucker gets an extra day to recover before the next game.

I'm not saying we should intentionally keep it close, I'm just saying if FSU doesn't put us away quickly, they may get frustrated. I hope we jump on them quickly, they fold, and we cruise. I'm just not confident we're capable of that.

This is a master at work.
Well OIG, when I saw them coming in the 2nd half I thought, "It's a good thing they didn't play like this in the first half". If it wasn't for the great strip causing the fumble, I don't think the Orange get a W.

I thought maybe our defense had something to do with it that first half before they made some adjustments. No credit to the team?

Let’s follow the G Tech blueprint against NC from today. They threw for only 133 yards but ran for 261 and created 3 turnovers. Scored 45 points. Sounds like a formula that we can pull off
I thought the same thing when I watched that game. Easiest formula for success for us

The defense played great and the team stuck together and got a win. I think Liberty is a pretty good team and the next P5 team they play had better be ready for them.

Yeah, no. That was the lightning streaks and stars coming off of #44 as he ran them over lol

grade a trollin as usual

I find it crazy that FSU has top 25 recruiting classes every year and they have struggled so much. In 2018 they were #6. Hell, I’d take a top 40.

They would beat Liberty by 10 or more. Super talented team.

Last I checked they had a top 30 O and a top 90 D. Which is close to Liberty’s rating.

We’ll see ;)

Some posters here downplay the importance and effectiveness of #5. I'm not one of them. He will be putting the hurt on Florida State and I can't wait to watch it. I wonder if coaching is in his future?

Bring the pressure on D and keep getting positive yardage every down. I don’t think FSU can survive a war in the trenches with us so long as we don’t let them stretch the field and don’t turn the ball over.

I think that's right.

I'm not a believer in white knuckle football, but I believe that this is a game where if we can take their best shot out of the gate, we'll be able to wear them down.

Just a guess... Jarveon Howard is going to have one of those sneaky big second halves.
