- Michael in Manlius called in and said he’s praying for Rickie as a good starting QB. Fran said Rickie is built for this. Competition was super close in camp and Rickie is capable. Fran is excited to see him play.
- Talked about Duke and how they have a good defense. Manny Diaz is a good defensive coach. Duke won 9 games last year and a lot of returning players.
- Fran talked about how he is excited to have a sell out crowd at the Dome
- Marc in NYC called and asked two questions: (1) what did they see in Jamie tremble to covert him to LB and (2) praised Braheem Long for playing great but asked how coach brown balances letting the guys have fun but also what did he say to Braheem after getting flagged for the taunting penalty. This was the best question and answer of the night as Fran said he actually was loving Braheems celebration and deserved to celebrate but needs to look at the crowd and celebrate. Because he looked at Klubnick that’s what caused the flag. On tremble, said he’s super fast, tall, likes to hit and wanted to get him on the field. Tremble is all in and is excited to be a two player.
- Coach Elijah then came on. Agreed with Frans comments about Tremble. Credited the D line with versatility such as Jacquez and Jobity. Said still a lot of work to do.
