These lines on Syracuse games jump all over the place. FSU plays Notre Dame the next week , so this would qualify as a trap game. Who knows , I can't see the ACC refs not helping FSU stay undefeated for a mega viewer rating game against undefeated ND. But -19 seems odd to say the least.

I agree that ND got some strange calls, but they probably would have beaten us anyway. Same might happen in the FSU game. They'll probably win even if we get the calls.

I'd love to see us beat FSU, but on a thread dedicated to weighing the odds/PS, I'd feel bad and kind of stupid to see this game as anything but a loss...hope we can win or at least keep it close.

The opening spread looks interesting and low...to me.

That can't be right. We're doing terrible on the field and terrible against the spread. FSU could accidentally beat us by 21. If they're at all focused...it's going to be double that easily.

Best case for SU is we get a couple offensive TDs, and hold them under 40. Which is still about a 21-24 point loss.

FSU's smaller travel squad means no 3rd and 4th stringers to play out the last quarter. Just 2nd stringers anxious to show the coaches what they can do. I hate to say it, but SU is going to get smoked and embarrassed yet again at home and on TV. I'll take the over at 49 - just on FSU.

Good news is noon start gives everyone the rest of their Saturday to enjoy once it gets out of hand by 1PM.

Somehow it seems like those GERG games against Louisville or ND. I was dumbfounded after those upsets.
