We better hope GS doesn’t get a concussion like Dungey did, that one play GS ran toward the sideline and got layed out had me worried. Dungey was 6’3 and I believe weighed more than GS now.

Ftr, ED only had one concussion during his entire career and that was against C. Mich on that dirty hit. Every other perceived concussion were actually stingers.

College Football News ranks FSU at 108, down from 107 last week. SU is ranked at 70, up from 76 last week. Based on those numbers, you might think the spread would be closer, or even in SU's favor.

Perhaps the spread has to do with 2 of SU's wins coming against JV type teams. So, the oddsmaker's look at it more along the lines of a 1-1 team after two home games and facing their first true road test against a legit P5 opponent that is down, but not yet out?

Loose with the ball, bad ol, sieve of a pass defense, can’t stay on the field.

This sets up as a punt fest because i don’t think SU is going to throw the ball enough to take advantage of the weak pass defense.

FSU is 0-4 but outside of JSU - they’ve played a pretty stout schedule.

They took ND to OT, played Louisville tough. I don’t see a team that’s quitting, I see a team that outside of the WF game, has fought hard and come out on the wrong side of it a couple of times.

This game, although looking much more winnable than a month ago, will be a tough task. Gotta come out swinging and set the tone.

Take out the Rutgers game from Syracuse and the Orange a 3-0 team with a win over a fringe top 25 team. Bottom line is Florida state lost to an FCS, and a not a very good one at that. We can’t ignore how inferior athletes were able to stifle the FSU offense all game.

He doesn't move very well anymore. Not sure if it's the brace or not but he's got quite the hitch in his giddyup. Hit him a few times and his clock is going to speed up a lot from PTSD.

Dirty hit. Having played that position and been there with Mark I can say that with 100% certainty.

The good news was a year (or maybe two later) we smoked them at home And toward the end of the game Stanizek was on the sideline, we were behind their bench, the place was half empty and a hush occurred, I yelled as loud as I could “Stanizek this is what Karma looks like!” He dropped his head and sulked. I actually felt bad. For a minute. No actually for a second……

That was textbook targeting (worthy of a multi game ban)...some of these targeting calls the last year or two are BS though. FB plays where helmets bang...no intent to target
