Why are we rushing three and spotting the receivers 10 yards. Why can't we get the ball in the endzone from inside the 5. What's wrong with a qb sneak. Marrone needs to do us a favor and move on. gross isn't firing him anytime soon. Never seen such a flat team come out for a must win, coaching coaching coaching!

Our troubles inside the ten yard line are comical. Plenty of blame to share. Dropped passes, poor qb reads, insane play calling...oh and a defense that must have spent the week reading their press clippings.

How the frick do we run smith down their throat on seven consecutive plays and our SR. QB pulls the ball out of his belly on first and goal and gets his helmet ripped off. His third down pass to smith could have had ray guy lime hang time and he rifles a ball that handcuffs smith. I know smith could have caught it, but that pass didn't need to be a bullet.

Prepare for another week of Doug taking the blame.

What's even worse is that we don't even have a top 60 recruiting class coming in. If we can't beat this team we're looking at. 3-9. That's worse than year one.

Typical Ryan started in the first game with the lateral, he could have stepped up as a leader and admitted it was his fault, instead Smith got all the blame. He has shown a remarkable lack of senior leadership on this team, and that is part of the reason for not being able to score in the red zone. Ryan is a wonderful student but not a very effective QB. The great offensive stats for this team are a true case where stats do lie.

so Smith should not have been taken to task for his complete lack of awareness on the lateral?
