Shrader is a warrior but unfortunately I think Shrader was just injury prone. A better O-LIne would have helped but to me it didn't seem like last years injuries were from repeated hits from bad O-line play. While I think he had some injuries like ankle and ribs during his time at SU that were at least partially caused from O-line play, it seems like what may have set him back most is his arm/elbow/shoulder just couldn't hold up. It didn't seem like the arm related injuries that happened last year or the previous two years were due to him being hit or driven to the ground on it, just issues due to normal repeated throwing. If we had had an appropriate P5 line and Shrader could have stayed healthy, I think he would have had a pretty impressive season. He generally wasn’t as reckless as Dungey was with his body.
"QB Garrett Shrader out of @CuseFootball is one of the best duel threat players coming out of @theACC. Shrader is listed at 6'4 and 225 lbs"
Would you want to face him with pistols at 20 paces?"QB Garrett Shrader out of @CuseFootball is one of the best duel threat players coming out of @theACC. Shrader is listed at 6'4 and 225 lbs"
"duel threat"*? Really? Oy...
* the proper term is "dual threat"

Kid ran upright and like to take hits did not like to run out of bounds, throw it away or slide.Shrader is a warrior but unfortunately I think Shrader was just injury prone. It's refreshing when someone reads something on a message board, misinterprets the intent, and corrects themselves. It rarely happens. Obviously, you are a scholar and a gentleman!I misunderstood your take.
