Gerry Staff Predictions…

Gerry addressed this in his press conference yesterday, with the reporters. He referenced the experienced coach he had on his staff at Siena -- a guy with decades of experience at the D2 level. And he talked about how valuable that was, as he was getting his feet wet. Learning what happens when you make a coaching mistake at the end of a game... how to handle all the firsts, like losing on a buzzer beater, etc.

But he said that once you get some of those things out of the way, once you have those experiences under your belt, that having that sounding board isn't as important.

Sounds like he had that guy, and used it to get through the first two years, but now feels like he's got it. Just my read, based upon his comments.
I believe he said something like “Don’t be surprised to see someone like that here.” Then caught himself and said maybe not.

That could have been a veil reference to the possibility but no certainty of RC.
