When I suggested that last week, the response was not going to happen. But, maybe that's when people thought Hop was going to Siena.

I think Hop would be great, but this Boeheim tree is very vertical.

The NBA is not Hop exactly. I posted in the presser thread that it is someone that’s in discussions to be AHC. Has coached 17 first round draft picks, 4 lottery picks and a #1 pick. Has done HS (northeast and somewhere that everyone will be very familiar with) and college as well. Would be home run hire even though his name may not be super familiar with everyone.

Not sure what the connection would be but kinda sounds like Boyle, the Montverde coach? Weren’t we rumored to be interested in him last year or am I imagining things?

Just 1. He was at UW at the time. And it wasn’t Hop lol might be one of the most flopped #1s but was still #1

Been out west as of late but is good friends with a lot of local coaches around here. More familiar with this area than you would think.

That would indeed be a homerun. He’s of course a hired gun that moves around a lot but a great hire out of the gate if it works out for Gerry even if just a couple years to help get this thing rolling fast.
