Not as good as you might think.Being an nfl head coach for 7 years is a pretty good recruiting tool.

Fair enough. When I hear today's landscape, I think of how drastically different our place in it is. Although we still have a seat at the table, so all isn't lost.
As for bowl rules, yes, and Coach P would have been to a bowl game in 13 of 14 seasons, instead of of 9 of 14 seasons. 93, 94, 00, 03 would have all ended with a bowl game.
Had it been the other way around, the refs would have ruled in ND's favor. I don't remember the whistle aspect, I thought they reviewed it and said he was spiking it, which was bogus. That terrible spike attempt that was a fumble but because they blew the whistle dead it couldnt be reviewed. Oh ya, i think i remember that play. I was pissed.
Lewis heir to Dino?Maybe Lewis was the guy who made the system run. He is getting it done at lowly Kent State as the head coach.
I believe he is going to be a top tier coach. Kent pays him $440,000. That leaves a lot of room for staff.Heir to Dino?
Marrone won in a bad conference and didn't even win that big.
No thanks.
I just want the current coach to find guys who can catch. I don't blame him for the WR recruits busting he just has to move on from them and get transfers who can. I think the rest of the roster can win.

By that logic, the previous guy lost in a bad conference and lost big.
I don't think you can understate how he changed our level of play.
Not sure why but that play is vivid in my memory. Would have been a huge game changer.Had it been the other way around, the refs would have ruled in ND's favor. I don't remember the whistle aspect, I thought they reviewed it and said he was spiking it, which was bogus.
The lie is that it was mostly SS recruits. It wasn't - it was like 85% Dino recruits. We think that way because of Eric. RB and linemen or two. Without those Dino recruits we don't win 10. Cisco, DE's etc
Every QB coach thinks they can "fix" throwing motion and it's good marketing/business plan to claim you can fix it.
I think there's a thread of truth in this post in that I think the Baylor O has gotten figured out a bit and needs to evolve. I'm not sure Dino is the guy to do that and neither is he since he turned it over to Sterlin. Which is *good* if you think he's a good CEO type.
He’s Dino’s guy and won’t come here if Dino is fired. If Dino retired, he might.

Newsflash - The 2020 ACC only has 4 ranked teams and only two of them are on our schedule.
Is there a "boo" button??I'm not saying we should do it, but I love watching option football. Imagine if we brought the freeze option back, would be pretty cool
Move on from one of two WR recruits sure. But at one point we had like 20 WR on the roster. He needs some blame for almost all of them bustingMarrone won in a bad conference and didn't even win that big.
No thanks.

Just the difference in the two penn st games from yr to yr. The game in the dome with grob was downright embarrassing. We go from that to having a goal line stand in happy valley and looking respectable with Marroneby the end of 2012, 4 years after Gerg, that team was playing at a top 15 level, which was remarkable considering where they started from
thats coaching
That's too bad, I really like the big man. He’s Dino’s guy and won’t come here if Dino is fired. If Dino retired, he might.
That Dome game was miserable - everything about it.Just the difference in the two penn st games from yr to yr. The game in the dome with grob was downright embarrassing. We go from that to having a goal line stand in happy valley and looking respectable with Marrone

That's not true. The Penn State fumble on the 2nd play was good.
Yeah, then everything else was miserable.
4 plays into the game, there were two lost fumbles and a 55 yard TD.
The worst part of the dome game was joe pa literally laughing at SU on the sidelines. He and his program are despicable but when else have you ever seen that?
