There's always reasons for these types of decisions. Usually personal and or pc. Jordan sponsors HB colleges like Howard too; why allow automatic qualifiers in the Tourney, instead of the best 64 teams.
Marquette is absolutely because of Dwyane Wade, I can tell you that.

Edit: Cincy was apparently an original Jordan brand team because of Huggy Bear's relationship with MJ. Only the basketball teams get jump man, football and rest get regular Nike.

Think we can expect BB and LAX to get jump man logo. Football might be asking for too much.
