Incredible day!!!
Not too often because (at least) earlier in the baseball season the marine layers burn off between 11am and 1pm.Question to San Diegans: Does the marine layer they say rolls in at night affect the ball carrying at night at Padres games in Petco and makes it harder to hit homers? I know they always said Oakland was like that, it was harder to hit homers at night at Oakland-Alameda Coliseum because of the marine layer.
Didnt see him on the sidelinesWas Zeed there
You must have been right next to me tonight. My son had great seats and a great time at the game. Jason Poles is in the background.

Who says we get beat down?Anyone still arguing that a likely beatdown by Ole Miss in the Gator Bowl was a better option than tonight?
Did we ever find out why Fadil Diggs did not play? Injury or healthy opt-out?
No except there’s no way Ole Miss hammers usAnyone still arguing that a likely beatdown by Ole Miss in the Gator Bowl was a better option than tonight?
Sadly I wasn’t there just my son, his wife and some of their SU alum friends who live in San Diego. You must have been right next to me tonight.
The Cornell field was essentially carpet over concrete. Early in the game Joe Morris went into the line and was plastered head-on by a BC player. Joe stayed in the game, but was pretty ineffective after that hit. Nowadays I am sure he would have been tested for a concussion.Very good offensive team led by Bill Hurley. Defense had some issues.
Just needed to best a poor BC team in last game to make the old Tangerine Bowl and completely laid an egg.
Shreveport was the booby prize but a win.
That "poor" BC team had a guy named Doug Flutie that our defense couldn't seem to tackle, for some reason. The Cornell field was essentially carpet over concrete. Without Joe the SU offense was diminished and BC won the game.
FYI, Flutie played at BC from 1981-1984. He won the Heisman in 1984.That "poor" BC team has a guy named Doug Flutie that our defense couldn't seem to tackle, for some reason.
Definitely seemed like some kind of dismissive gesture around handshake time. Dude had just fought hard & lost, so who knows his emotions?Well an eye roll doesn't seem good guy to me so that's what I said
