Always rooting for this young man. Curious on how he'd work in this new system because accuracy is huge.

Question about Hunt, what if HCDB doesn't want him at qb would he move Hunt to RB or WR?

Hopefully he gets it approved. Anything can happen but he played in too many games the one season.

me thinks Hunt isnt' going rogue here

Me as well and it make me wonder about that position for 2016. Still, Hunt would have to be able to consistent with that throw and from what I've seen I'm not so sure but it's also possible that SU's qb position number wise could be a very wide range depending on transfers/injury.

Are we sure it's to be eligible at Syracuse? Couldn't he take his talents on the open market as a graduated senior? I don't see how he would have any advantage over the other qb's in this offense.

We can never use enough QBs...we used what 4 this year? Good people usually find good spots to land on.

Go Hunt!!!

Syracuse QB Terrel Hunt on NCAA denying his sixth year: "I kind of think it's unfair." Wants to get word out of appeal.

Hunt said he hired a lawyer for this new appeal. Spoke about only playing a couple snaps as a redshirt freshman.

Hunt said his backup plans include getting into real estate. Will graduate with his Master's degree in the spring.

If the appeal fails, Hunt said he will still try for the NFL. He has no interest in playing in the CFL.

Terrel Hunt on the NCAA multiple times: "They have hearts." Hoping for some understanding after he gets his story out.

Syracuse QB Terrel Hunt said playing in fifth game in 2014 led to initial NCAA denial of 6th year. Not sure anything's going to change that.

Syracuse quarterback Terrel Hunt has appealed the NCAA's decision denying him a sixth year of eligibility. Hunt has missed 18 games over the last two seasons because of injuries, but the NCAA ruled he missed the cutoff for a medical redshirt in 2014 by one game. Hunt wants the organization to reconsider. "The NCAA, sometimes the ruling to some people doesn't make sense, and I'm one of those people," Hunt told ESPN.com. "This is just to give a kid another year of playing football, something he loves."

NCAA Appeal you say? I'm sure they'll not only deny it, but also slap him/Syracuse with a violation and say he should've paid his own way for the 5th year. Then kick his dog.

Hoping for the best though. Maybe the NCAA bozos will actually have a heart this Holiday season.

I started a thread about this a few months ago. There has to be a way to get him on the field, even if it's not QB. If Dungey is our guy next year, I'd so much rather have Hunt in the game for short yardage Wildcat situations.

I have a feeling he will transfer to another smaller school if accepted. He is about to get his Masters and can transfer without sitting like many have before him at other schools.

Yeah he's not fighting this hard to appeal the decision so he can sit on the bench at SU.

Hope it's not BC!

Hunt really was automatic running the ball into the end zone. He single-handedly won us that BC game that got us to the Texas Bowl in 2013.
