Another sign of a bad program is an inablility to score TDs against conference opponents.
they have also shown they can score 8 or 9 in a game

When there is football on the field we have the right to be critical. We know football isn't as important as a pandemic or fires. But this is a football forum.Lighten up everyone... lot more serious stuff going on like covid, wildfires after gender reveal parties, child s e x trafficking, destructive hurricanes... lol guys it's just football see you next week
what about isisWhen there is football on the field we have the right to be critical. We know football isn't as important as a pandemic or fires. But this is a football forum.
Is that the meter of success cause it didn't work with P. He won at places like Michigan, went to major bowl games and got run out of here after a 6 win season. Stop with the excuses that he almost won a game 3 years ago and won 10 game with a roster full of another coach's guys. Year 5, this is the house that Dino built, like it or not.

In year 5 of Dino, I would have never guessed that we would have a better defense than offense. Our offense is uncreative and dull which is very shocking to me. We have one run in the playbook and we pass to only 25% of the field.
I wouldn't have guessed that in year of 5 Dino, his first year is still by far the best set of Wrs we have had. Let that sink in for a minute. Speaking of that what the hell happened to the short passing game to the slot wr. Erv Phillips averaged about 11 catches a game, now our slot guys get 11 a year.
What? Seriously? Why can’t we be like Wake or BC as a program? That is where I started and where I remained. If you think we are on par with them, we will agree to disagree.
This thread wasn’t created because of today’s game but the last 50 games. Why do you keep bringing up today? If our failures are just today this whole conversation would be silly. Maybe you have been sleeping the last 13 games.
This O needs a physical WR who can go up and get the ball. We haven’t had that the last three seasons. We should have had guys lining up given those numbers the first two years. Yet we still can’t find that guy.
I think the frustrating thing is year 1 the offense was so quick and tempo and it was so fresh. There has been nothing fresh for 4 years. He doesn’t need to be fired but hopefully the coaching changes help somewhat but today wasn’t it offensively

If you think the defense quit, you don't know your arse from elbow. Come on, man, They were gassed, plain and simple. Sorry to be so blunt, but your post deserved it.Dino was brought here to fix the offense. We just played another blowout game where we didn't score a TD, the defense quit after 3 quarters of realizing the offense couldn't get it done. I started to bring this stuff up last year and was practically run off the board. Anyone who would kill you for this post if living a delusion at this point.
The fan base isn’t poor. It’s been suffering from terrible teams for a while.Who the hell would replace him? Who even wants this job??? It’s a punching bag program for the ACC elites, the program hasn’t recruited at a top 25 level in over 20 years and the fan base is poor. (Not to mention a 70 something year old basketball coach still calls the shots for the entire athletics program.)

What about on offense? The one rebuttal I have to some comments is recruiting... I saw a ton of young talent on the field today ready to play for us.
I can’t remember seeing so many game ready underclassmen at one time. Defense alone.
I was encouraged by that.
Disappointed in the use of JJ - I think he’s plenty talented but we need to put him in situations to use it.What about on offense?
Wow, so you can tell by feel if a coach is going to be good at SU? Maybe you should be a P5 AD because there are maybe 10 ADs out there with that ability.Guys, you can feel if the coach is the right man to win at Syracuse. It’s easy to feel, at least for me and I’m sure most of you, we will NOT WIN CONSISTENTLY with Dino at the helm.
We have been crushed in far too many games over Dino’s tenure here. It’ll be time to cut bait. It may not be this season, but I can easily see it being after next season.
