I am sure I will get killed for this

Disappointed in the use of JJ - I think he’s plenty talented but we need to put him in situations to use it.

Queeley looked strong. We know what we have in Benson & Hackett. Not too many other opportunities on that side of the ball for the youth.
Queeley looked alright today. Our skill players looked fcs caliber today.

I wouldn't have guessed that in year of 5 Dino, his first year is still by far the best set of Wrs we have had. Let that sink in for a minute. Speaking of that what the hell happened to the short passing game to the slot wr. Erv Phillips averaged about 11 catches a game, now our slot guys get 11 a year.
That's the biggest question I have. Where did that part of the offense go? That should be our defacto running game. It also helps negate the rush because the ball can come out fast.

You think? He's pretty much a legend. The criticism about his arm was legit but in no way hinders his legacy. I wish we could put Devito's arm on Dungey's body. The proportions would look weird, but it would've made him a Heisman candidate.

I also held my breath basically every play but damn were we ALIVE BOYS

What we are seeing is the result of awful recruiting for the offense. Misses on the OL, no home run threat at WR and a QB who seems like a great kid but i just don’t know if he has IT. In my opinion Dino gets a mulligan for 2016 and 2017, he completely flipped the schemes on both sides and did that with blah talent and in 2017 in particular, rough schedules. After a great 2018, last year was a dumpster fire and he lost the team for a good while. I worry about team chemistry again this year. He is trying to rectify the talent issues with all of the new hires and so far it seems to be paying off for 2021. Defense looks solid so there is that. I am treating this year as 11 exhibitions and I hope for better things next year.

I really want to have this attitude.

this^^^^^^^
We have missed on OL recruiting and we paid for it last year and this year. Not a coincidence that they are trying to bring more OL recruits. Bottom line is the offense all starts and finishes with the OL.

How no reporter asked about the offensive line is beyond me. “Dino, this doesn’t look good that for the 2nd straight year we are getting terrible line play. How do we not have anyone that can block anyone!” You keep telling about belief without evidence. Isn’t there enough evidence that the oline is the major problem! Chris Elmore CANNOT be a starting LG in the league.

I don't blame fans for questioning Dino cause today was bad on offense and this is year 5 of his rebuild. But I'm willing to be patient and reevaluate everything at the end of the year, hopefully everyone is able to do the same.

How does no one ask about the clock management or play calling? I know the local media doesn't want to get on SUs bad side but good lord ask some tough questions. The Reichstag in 41 pushed back more

What about the Dino Baber offense would motivate a top WR to ever come here?
After the first two years, there should have been interest. AET and Ishmael put up big numbers and were 1st team all ACC. Philips caught a million balls too.

Elmore is a starting LG in the ACC simple because he's better than the current alternatives, which at this point is 2 true freshmen, a 265# import, and a couple of walkons.

Pitts a middle of the pack ACC team where as UNC theoretically may challenge Clemson (if anyone can outside ND). Yes we suck at Pitt, historically, but a crowdless game in late september’s the best we could ask for.
They may. They haven't won Jack in years. 7 and 6 last year. A competent team would have beat them today. Not impressed by them at all.

P got fired by an idiot.

Luckily we don't have idiots running SU anymore.

He had about 1100 yards of RB quit on the season. We're not quite at the point to replace that with a 3rd stringer.
Adams and Howard had a combined 660 yards last season. Lets not pretend they are elite backs. Adams may have got to 1000 similar to Neal last year. They were valuable most importantly their experience in blitz pickup which Pierre struggled with and at 160 lbs Jordan will struggle with.

Chance Amie leaving also hurt. I believe he was going to play If struggles continued. Dungey said in an interview he expected Amie, not TD to be the starter after he left and I think he knew something
Ding ding ding
