Once again, recency bias. Nothing from the title game against texas is a terrible oversight. I would aslo throw in Rob Moore on the opening play against Penn st back in '87
Was there for that as well. Great memoriesK
Kirby Dar Dar’s opening kickoff TD against Spurrier’s Florida team in 1991.
Only saw 4 when I looked at it- I didn’t expand the tweet to realize there was a 5th listed- my bad I guess.Already #5 lol
Dungeys leap against Virginia in.. 2014? 2015? I don’t even remember and it’s not like it was some incredible meaningful game
But man that play ROCKS
My favorite part of that was watching the missile catch up behind him effortlessly. We were fast lolOnly saw 4 when I looked at it- I didn’t expand the tweet to realize there was a 5th listed- my bad I guess.Saw 3 of them in person but missed the 1987 awesome season and those 2 great plays in person (saw them on tv) because my youngest son was just a baby. Florida still would never have even realized that Kirby Dar Dar scored that TD if the fans hadn’t gone absolutely wild.

Bryce BevillWhat player came from waay back to track down an Oklahoma player before he crossed the goal line? All-time hustle play.
It was on a 2 point attemptAnd the BS "fumble" as McNabb tackled a guy that allowed Va Tech to score a TD kept them in it.
I was at that one. My floor mates all called him Bryce “the play” Bevill after that playBryce Bevill
Here’s their version, just for fun.Bryce Bevill

Agree. The only one I was live for. That play was a catalyst for us being a perennial top 20 team for the next 12 years. We punched them in the mouth and they never recovered. If you rewatch that game on Youtube... we dominated every facet of the game... both lines... special teams... everything. We were, at that point, an Eastern power. I suppose that we could have done a 10-play, 80 yard drive for a score and gotten the same reality. But blowing them out for the entire game like that really set the tone for there being a new power team in the East.My all time number one play is the McPherson to Rob Moore bomb on the first play of the game vs Pedd St. It was an immediate punch in the mouth that they never recovered from. I’ve never heard the dome louder, and the dome was literally rocking. I’ll never forget it. It was the resurgence of SU football and lead us into a golden era
There is 5.I only missed the Penn St game was at other 3
BC seemed to bring out the best in Eric.
Conference title on the line (had we lost I think we might have been out of the running) and coming off a disheartening loss at West Virginia. Just a crazy ass game with all sorts of crazy plays. We had been agonizingly close to winning the Big East and to get that win in McNabb's senior year, like that? on the final play? 66-13 wouldn't have meant as much if Brominski doesn't make that play, I think it belongs (Might be bias, as it happened right in front of me)It’s going to sound blasphemous, but the Brominski play gets overhyped. Everyone, and I mean everyone, knew that play was coming. The SU players. The fans. The Va Tech staff. The Va Tech players. Brominski just boxed out the defender and made a play. We should have drilled them that year. We played like ass and had to win on the last play. It never felt like a great moment. In my mind it saved us from an embarrassing loss.
SU won the title the year before . In 96 they split with VT and Miami.Conference title on the line (had we lost I think we might have been out of the running) and coming off a disheartening loss at West Virginia.
