However, every loss we had this year were from teams coming off a bye. UCONN is also coming off a bye so this game still scares me.

It doesn't scare me, but it screams let down, especially with the Hurricanes on the horizon. There will be no buzz in the Dome at all, and UConn will be considering this their biggest game of the year.

UConn's super bowl is probably their rivalry game against UMass. They've feasted on bad teams all year.

BC should have been a blowout like that game in the Dome they humiliated us a few years back but we somehow made it close.

Stanford game even if we won showed we aren't ACC title or playoff contenders.

We made it to late November with 10 wins being possible as long as we don't lose to UConn and it's a great season. Thinking anything more than that was possible or realistic is insane.

Some aspects are done via smoke and mirrors due to personnel issues as the season goes on. BC exploited the greatest weaknesses of this team which is the interior line play. Mainly on defense but also on Offense that weekend. Like said, despite this it was still a close game. Bouncing back against Cal was a statement. Beating UCONN after the cross-country trek is no given. It ill be a feather in the cap though if done and then would potentially set up a huge game against UM with all the pressure on them.

I think Ohio and Uconn are similar in the mediocre category. They both crushed Buffalo who has a decent record at least.

Both well coached for sure which is always dangerous for most college teams. We absolutely should win 42-20 or better, but you never know.
Talent wise there Is no concern. I like our coaches but very experienced coaches Is the concern here. Not a concerning concern but at least a smidge.
