Illinois making a change at OC

Yes because there’s a similarity between the NFL looking at stats of a QB at Alabama and Kent state. Guys at factory schools get favorably judged, he’s not getting the same look from a scout at Kent state as a QB at any SEC school.
I have no idea what the future holds for Tommy but this year there are two NFL starting qb’s from Cal(not exactly a powerhouse), Eastern Ill(we all know who that is haha), Miami of Ohio, Harvard, Wyoming, North Dakota State, Fresno State and Duke. That’s a third of the starters so not too bad.

What’s interesting is how many starting NFL qb’s are from the ACC. I think 8 which is probably more than the SEC

Greg Mcelroy was the first Alabama QB to win an NFL game as a starting QB since 1987 when he won a game in 2015. The NFL finds talent.

Have you watched the National Football League, there are a lot of bad QB's who make it there. If you got a canon and some level of intelligence, some team will bring you to camp.

I think this makes sense. Guessing he has some good camera work credentials that will serve him well.

Holy crap - that’s a telling stat

Yeah there are no bad quarterbacks, only “bad” ones relative to their peers and what is needed to truly succeed at the toughest position in sports. I get why we call certain players bad though. Just like when we call our bball players unathletic (relative to the level of competition, obviously).
