Any sighting and opinion on what he will play like in 2014? Another offensive vacancy? Or maybe there is something to hope for on both ends of the court. Thanks

According to what one of our posters wrote on the pay side, he is the best big man talent since Ethan Cole and Eric Williams and is being Boeheimed in favor of the local, inferior player.

Are you kidding me? You are already on Chino's case with this offensive vacancy nonsense. Maybe you haven't heard, but big men take time. And this goes for your ridiculous disappointment over the ROI on DC2.

I am interested in how Chino is doing. Is he able to motivate himself to work hard and make good use of the RS? I think his significant time won't start for 2 years. And it seems like he would be being groomed as a defensive stopper, in a BMK type role.

The last word I remember is that he is a rebounding machine.
Yep. I seem to remember JB saying he might be our best rebounder right now. That's just not enough of a reason to get any PT this year.

I just hope he is a 5 year player and can get solid Billy Celuck off the bench minutes by his RS Sophomore year.

This is high school but I think Chinoso will turn out to be a better all-around player than Keita, a guy who could help us on both ends:

I hear he's looking great, Cali. If true, JB should be able to trade Coleman for some bullpen help next season. Oh, wait, wrong board.

He seems like another really good kid. The RS year should be beneficial to him not only on the court but also in the transition into college.

Albeit a good question, and no doubt many want to know, the STEALTH Side should not be quoted on this forum...as you all know the pay side/STEALTH SIDE charges a great deal for information that is garnered through the good and reasonable sources we have...why do you think we have such all around good info on Syracuse...whether it be general information, recruiting, athletes and grades, police blotter etc...We had just about had every other college forgetting about Chinoso--a valuable player in years to come...he was buried...and now brought to light by those not upholding the STEALTH SIDE CODE of silence...

Amen brother! Word.

these posts are both borderline violations. If asked, there used to be a pay side, but not anymore.

Yes you are big on 'hope and change'... that has worked so well.

Energy follows thought. I hope he turns out to be great player.

RE: 'hope and change' ...that has worked so well

“pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will”

“The challenge of modernity is to live without illusions and without becoming disillusioned … I’m a pessimist because of intelligence, but an optimist because of will.” In the context of Gramsci’s life and work, the phrase had a particular resonance. He was suffering isolation and deprivation in prison, from which he had no hope of release.

In a time when poverty is on the rise, wages are stagnant, and the wealth gap is ever increasing, hope for change is all we have. Do you actually expect people gleefully to vote for the status quo under such conditions?

I like what CJ said about Chinoso having good timing on rebounds and always coming down with the ball. The coaches saw something in him otherwise they would not have recruited him.
