Energy follows thought. I hope he turns out to be great player.

RE: 'hope and change' ...that has worked so well

“pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will”

“The challenge of modernity is to live without illusions and without becoming disillusioned … I’m a pessimist because of intelligence, but an optimist because of will.” In the context of Gramsci’s life and work, the phrase had a particular resonance. He was suffering isolation and deprivation in prison, from which he had no hope of release.

In a time when poverty is on the rise, wages are stagnant, and the wealth gap is ever increasing, hope for change is all we have. Do you actually expect people gleefully to vote for the status quo under such conditions?
It is cute how you used a well known Marxist to defend hope and change. Well played sir.

I didn't know he was a Marxist. I just thought it was an interesting idea of having hope as a choice when there is no reason to support the belief.

Maybe this quote will be more in line with your Austrian economic theories:

"No matter how cynical you get, it is impossible to keep up." Lily Tomlin

*Maybe*? Lol. Oh, I see you are the type to throw all kinds of crap against a wall to see what will stick.

Bye now.

I see you are the kind of person who likes to classify people according to certain types. You classified me as a crap thrower. It makes a lot of sense now. I assume each type you classify a person into comes with its own plethora of prejudice and bigotry. To each his own I guess. Good luck with that!

not sure why anyone would consider redshirting a stain. you get to work out and better your game in the most outstanding facilities with advanced D1 coaches and strength trainers and special nutritionists. and more importantly compete against top end talent the likes of which you'd never ever face in prep or high school. toss in that you also get the chance to get your academics in order and graduate early. not all bad.
