Those kids have earned it! They are a reflection of their coach ... they are high character and have overcome a lot ... I can't wait to see them turn it on and start pounding the snot out of their schedule next season ... its coming.

Could not ask for much more after going 0-2. They found a way to build on the momentum started by Marrone. Now we need a really strong finish to the recruiting season.

Year 1 of SS is a success.

In today's world, fans seem to focus on the short term and then project those out for a long time. The fact of the matter is a college sports season can result in many different levels of results and efforts; the variance is part of the reason this level is so great! This is why I love sports: you can get your butt kicked one week and come back the next and beat a team that is favored.

As kids, we all dream about winning the game in the last seconds, yet as adults we never share that optimism. Are those comebacks likely? Not always, but they are possible. Players are always focused on what it takes to win, however unlikely those chances might be. Any Syracuse fan who saw the Pearl beat BC as the Eagles missed the front end of a 1 and 1 to seal the win should remember this valuable lesson.
