He distributes ball very well. That is the main job for a point guard.I think you ride with him starting games. He can still be a lethal shooter when he gets going. But that's the thing...if he doesn't get going (which he hasn't), I'm all for Kadary and JG3 splitting minutes
We are obviously going to see a lot of the Buddy/Joe combo and likely more than many of us really want to see. Right now I see that combo as our 3rd or 4th best guard combo.Just can't have Girard and Buddy on the court at the same time for big minutes - there is no defense nor any transition offense - and Buddy is 5 times the player Girard is - Girard and possibly Griffen for some minutes could work
Just curious what makes people think Griffin is a guard because he’s probably our second best rebounder? I’m willing to bet he plays less than 10 minutes of guard when the rest of the guys are all available.

Did you say that last year when Joe usurped sophomore Jalen Carey at PG? ... I wasn’t a huge Girard fan coming into his freshman year, but he was clearly our best answer at PG last season and I wound up being impressed with his overall play and development. But it’s obvious to me that Kadary has bigger long term upside as a PG and in all facets of the game except maybe shooting. Joe is an important building block (we need three really good guards in the rotation), but if we want to contend for championships, he can’t be the starting PG here for the next four years and play 35-40mpg.Look...it's new and shiny.
bc guerrier sidibe marek are arguably top 5 players on the team as well.Just curious what makes people think Griffin is a guard because he’s probably our second best rebounder? I’m willing to bet he plays less than 10 minutes of guard when the rest of the guys are all available.
