How can you say that unequivocally? They all look equally bad to me for different reasons. Hunt and Kimble can run and can't throw. Wilson can't run but can throw hard. Long is accurate and looks like he should be able to run but really can't so far. There is no good choice at this point and not one of them is clearly better than any other.
You know what, upstate, your avatar is classless. I've told you this before, but you seem to derive some perverse pleasure out of exacerbating a difficult personal situation for Matt Park every time you appear here. There is no better QB on the roster than Hunt. Next spring is going to be interesting. My money is on Hunt but i wouldnt be surprised to see either Long or Wilson depending on the O that Lester goes with.
If you plug Kimble, Long or Wilson into the QB spot vs. ND... Can you imagine them keeping it within 2 scores?I don't see any possible way Wilson is a factor unless in a back up role. Hunt vs Long vs Edouard

Slightly better? Hunt saved last year's entire season. I'm sure you were hooting and hollering for Drew Allen, too. A Southern football player! Prayers answered! An upperclassmen QB is arguably slightly better than some freshman QBs who no one recruited.
Hooray!

Combine the four of them and you have a serviceable ACC qb...Kimble is a good runner but can't throw. I would say by far the weakest arm on the team. That comeback route to Ishmael was awfull, barely got it there.
Wilson is a sitting duck and just wings it when under pressure.
Long looks to be the most accurate, but isn't nearly as mobile as I thought he was and is extremely small.
Hunt is extremely inaccurate and misses the easy throws but can make plays with his feet.

AJ is simply not ready to play at this level, he may or may not ever be, but he should have been red shirted save for our injuries. How can you say that unequivocally? I was very disappointed with Hunt. We were told he had really improved - had picked up from where he left off last year. Well, actually not so much. Now, the question will be the same next year - has Hunt really improved as a passer? Sure has the best command of the offense but he should have. Can he pass - that is the question.Kimble is a good runner but can't throw. I would say by far the weakest arm on the team. That comeback route to Ishmael was awfull, barely got it there.

It seems as if Long has the greatest upside. He made rookie mistakes and was a turnover every 20 plays or so. However, that will improve with reps. Hunt was the same way.
At this point Wilson and Kimble have a lot of work to do.
Here's the deal - does :ester change the offense so that it favors one of these guys over the other? If I am Lester, I would go with the guy who takes care of the ball the best and that will probably be Hunt. We are going to look like BC I think.
